Hi, I am Cristina. I graduated from Dentistry in Madrid in 2010. I moved to Scotland a year later and I have been working in general practice here since 2011.

I combine work with the attendance of numerous national and international training programs. In 2017 I completed an MSc in Primary Dental Care with a special interest in Periodontology, at the University of Glasgow.

I have a keen interest in the cause, treatment and prevention of gum disease. I aim on behaviour modification to improve patient-performed oral hygiene, addressing periodontal disease with a holistic approach, looking at periodontal disease and the patient as a whole.

I prioritise my patient’s needs by approaching them with empathy and making them feel comfortable during their dental visit.

I love educating my patients in understanding periodontal disease, engaging them in the journey to healthy gums and successful outcomes. This provides me with a deep sense of satisfaction.

Within the practice, I accept patient referrals from my colleagues to help them treat severe cases of periodontal disease.

In addition to my dentistry knowledge, I have recently immersed myself in the field of facial aesthetics, providing anti- aging treatments, derma fillers and lip augmentation.

Outside of work I am an active person who enjoys outdoors activities, nature, gardening and travelling.
